From a very young age she revealed a special taste for arts, in particular for painting. With a degree in industrial design from the Universidade Lusíada de Porto, TC participated in several artistic and design projects.
She defines herself as a designer as a “space for creativity”, a stage where she develops other creative skills.
Her painting is predominantly female, romantic and intimate.
Her work has been exhibited in various spaces, both collectively and individually, and is also found in several private collections. She is an artist who has tried to take a very careful route, investing in internationalization, with participation in international fairs and important art galleries.
Her work is loaded with figurative pop reminiscences, along with an extraordinary mastery of colour and form. With a clearly figurative theme, with a preference for illustrating female faces in situations that from a comic point of view have a totally persuasive and sensual aspect.
With a great protagonism, both artistic and commercial, TC in the last two art fairs of 2020, in which she participated in Madrid, the artist presented a set of works that due to their construction lead us to think that soon this brilliant painter will also be producing sculptures, in a natural and creative way, with the magic of her images.
Her predominantly female subject matter is so beautiful that it is easy for us to fall in love with her models, always imaginary in their production and far from the models in pose.
This promise, which we have seen for a long time, would be a new expression that we would like to see in his next exhibitions.
TC is a talented creator who, in recent years, has been imposing herself in the difficult market of contemporary art, tracking today an inevitable name not only in Portugal but also in the various countries in which she has participated, always crowned with great success.
