Es Arte Gallery presents from August 29 to September 12 the large format works of the artist Manuel Martín Cabrera.
Spanish painter born in Jerez de la Frontera, established in Madrid. He studied at the Royal School of Art in London, doing his internship at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Madrid.
His first academic works were figurative paintings, which later went through an experimental phase, entering fully into abstraction.
Initially he used a great variety of tones and forms, evolving to simplify the range and compositions possibly influenced by oriental aesthetics.
His interest in giving harmony to the chaos that flows from the mind is materialized in codes organized within the different supports with the language of the superposition of layers and tones, establishing finally the open dialogue between the piece and the public, leaving the own meaning to the personal interpretation of the one who enjoys it.
He has combined his artistic facet with interior design, having developed important decoration projects for villas and hotels in large cities around the world, such as Dubai, New York, London, etc.
In 1978 he had his first exhibition and since then his works have been shown in different galleries, cultural centres in Madrid, Milan, Hong Kong, New York, etc.
