Multidisciplinary Artist
She was born in Córdoba, Spain, and spent the early years of her life in Belgium. She began studying Law but soon realised that her future lay in the creative world.
She studied Graphic Arts in Málaga, Spain, and attended the School of Communication Arts in London. Afterwards, she began working as a creative director for several advertising agencies in Marbella and Gibraltar. During those years, she learned to work with watercolours and acrylics, specialising in children’s illustration. Driven by her artistic nature, Marifé also studied photography at the Aula 7 Academy in Málaga.
After earning her Master’s degree in Business and Marketing in 1994, she opened her own advertising agency, ARTEPUBLICA, followed later by MF DISEÑO Y PUBLICIDAD. Both companies specialised in marketing, advertising, and graphic design.
It was during this period that she began using computers and design applications, which opened up an entirely new world of endless possibilities.
The concept behind my work lies in breaking with current paradigms, offering spiritual alternatives, and challenging established dogmas. It is a journey from the past, moving beyond traditional values into the present through manipulation, materialism, and consumerism. It envisions a future based on awakening to a different reality—one filled with optimism and spirituality.
Through my work, I seek to transform consciousness, placing the essence of humanity, simplicity, and love at its core.
