The artist Mercedes Sola was born in Seville on April 26th. In 1986 she finished her degree in sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts “Santa Isabel de Hungría”. Seville.  In the year 1986 she works as an advisor in the Culture Delegation of the Alcalá de Guadaira City Council. She also collaborates in the Sculpture Chair of the Fine Arts Faculty “Santa Isabel de Hungría”. Seville. From 1987 to 2007 she teaches sculpture at the School of Art in Seville.  From 1989 to 1995 she was Director of the “Nervión” School of Art in Seville. She also works as coordinator of the curricular design of the sculpture teachings in the development of the LOGSE in the Community of Andalusia.

Her exhibitions include the Sculpture Exhibition at the “Santa Isabel de Hungría” School of Fine Arts in Seville, and the Sculpture Exhibition at the Alcalá de Guadaira Town Hall in Seville. Sculpture Exhibition in the Cuban Hispanic Institute. City Hall of Seville. He also exhibits in Elemental Realment Agora Gallery in New York and in Art Exhibition in Malaga.
