Marc Boom is a creative photographer and designer. He is an artistic photographer from Amsterdam who loves people, places and things. He is a Dutch photographer, resident in Amsterdam. Born in a photographers, painters and musicians family, thus the artist also has that desire to create art. He has explored music and graphic design, but it was photography what gave him the ability to create what he imagines. Historical fiction and fantasy have always inspired him in his work. He likes to lead viewers on an imaginary and visual path with medieval and Victorian themes. However, he is not afraid to explore any other subject in order to tell his story. While working commercially, he likes to bring his authentic style, which he has learned while creating his personal projects, to commercial work. Giving them the intimate feeling that is known from his personal work. In 2016, his portrait “Self-Portrait with bandaged ear and pipe” won the DigiPhoto Pro magazine award.
