Toni Richarte

Toni Richarte, born in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz (1993), came into contact with painting from a very early age.

His academic background focused on sports education (a degree in Physical Education Teaching from the University of Seville), together with years devoted to the professional study of movement through disciplines such as Parkour and the Art of Displacement, led him to explore spirituality and body awareness.

His search has taken him to different cities to discover the origins of movement and delve deeper into its philosophy, bringing him into direct contact with contemporary art and urban architecture. This constant dialogue between body, mind, and space has fuelled an ongoing visual exploration over time.

His work emerges from this embodied experience through painting—both on canvas and in mural interventions—using a variety of techniques and materials such as spray paint, acrylics, enamels, and asphalt paint. Each piece is a visual translation of what movement reveals to him on a spiritual level: an inner cartography transformed into matter and colour.
